Yamini, the bride, wanted a peacock on her card, and bright colours. Her parents wanted the 'Ganesha' added in, but not prominently so. I chose to use two intertwined peacocks to symbolize marriage, and pink and orange are bright, ethnic colours, often associated with happy occasions in India. The gold was added to highlight elements. The card was screen printed in three colours on each side.
